I started the post below in March to document the first quarter of 2012 with Cashmere Velvet Candy Cane, but never got around to finishing it, guess we've been too busy enjoying 2012.
1. My sick day spent working from home, in bed. My view is so dreamy that its difficult to get anything done. 2. Galentine's day at Poquitos. Lorraine surprised us with the loveliest Galentine's gifts: handmade hearts and tea blends to fit our personalities and our friendships. (She gave me an orange and purple patterned heart and mango green tea.)3. Pokemon Valentine's day cards from Arabella's work. Brings me back to our fourth grade friendship. Arabella would loan me her VHS recordings of Pokemon since my bus didn't get us home in time to watch it after school.4. Waiting for the bus in our neighborhood.5. Pickwick at the Neptune for Starbuck's Little Big Show.6. Kelsey's Amelia Earhart Apple "Think Different" poster from her childhood. Her elementary, junior high, and high school collections are slowly creeping into our house. 7. First Friday night spent at home this year. Kelsey and I fell asleep on the couch watching movies. I don't think she'll ever finish American Psycho. She's been trying for one and a half years.8. Always seem to be waiting for the bus with Arabella, though we are rarely going to the same place. Hmm.9. Kelsey and I finally bought some Clarks Desert Boots.
1. Bibimbap every other Saturday evening seems to be the only time I get to catch up with Lorraine.2. And after dinner on Saturdays, we get ready for our separate nights out (or in), and I advise her on shoes. 3. After months of research, Kelsey finally met her first Freestyle Coca-Cola machine at Taco Time on Rainier
4-6. Photographs from the Cold War Kids show at Columbia City Theatre and our ritual late night run to Eastlake Market for ramen, avocados, and coconut water.
